Property Leasing

Do you have a property for rent?
Do you want guaranteed rental income without costly agent fees?
First Choice can offer you:
If a property meets the needs of the Association, the identified individuals with a learning disability and the Local Authority Commissioner, the Association can consider entering into a leasehold agreement.
The Association usually enters into a full repairing lease but would normally expect the owner of the property to contribute to the costs of any initial improvement works. The length of the lease is negotiable.
The Association currently leases properties from Domiciliary Care Providers and local authorities, but in addition is exploring a model whereby it could lease a property from a family member of a person with a learning disability. This arrangement can provide families with an alternative to caring for their loved one at home.
